Jordi Pera is an economist passionate about tourism, strategy, marketing, sustainability, business modelling and open innovation. He believes that tourism development and destination competitiveness have to be based upon a shared effort and cooperation among all stakeholders which eventually turns into shared profits for all the participants.
Beyond cooperation, competitiveness is to be based on constant innovation in business modelling, marketing and product development, for which Envisioning Tourism 3.0 Ltd. provides clients with orientation and imaginative approaches to make their destination stand out amongst their competitors.
Jordi is keen on tackling innovation and strategy challenges that require imagination, entail thoughtful analysis and are to be solved with creative solutions. By listening to the stakeholders’ needs and aspirations in order to understand, he obtains a sound and holistic view of the problem, out of which to design a strategy or model attending to all critical points identified.
He has international experience in marketing, intelligence research, strategy planning, business model innovation and lecturing, having developed most of his career in the tourism industry. He works in collaboration with a network of international experts in several disciplines to ensure the highest quality service in every part of the project.
